The Mission

Lighthouse Global (formerly H5) provides industry leading services and technologies for linguistic classification and modeling, which was used to develop a sophisticated analytics product for eDiscovery.

The goals of this project were:

Develop role-based certifications that allowed professionals to receive instruction on key features of the product and apply the information in a simulated environment.

Present a high-production value, on-brand training product that aligned with their marketing and customer-facing objectives.

Deliver the program entirely online, on-demand for ease of use and management.

The Journey

Building a customized certification curriculum from the ground up required thoughtful collaboration with product experts, advisors and subject matter experts, and leadership from marketing, product, and client success.

We collaborated with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create a topic-based curriculum aligned with the core skills and competencies required for customer success.

Key Activities:

Developed a structured curriculum to guide users through essential workflows.

Conducted expert interviews to understand product functionality and key use cases.

Created hands-on practice activities to reinforce learning and retention.

Design

We leveraged the brand guide from Lighthouse and created a complementary visual language that was used to present workflows, key concepts, and procedures throughout the training. The end result, was a modular training curriculum that felt "in house" and could be repurposed across internal and external initiatives for maximum return on investment.

The key assets that were delivered from our design team were:

Course player interface and experience

Customize course landing pages on the Academy site.

In-content animations and callouts

Title animations and logo reveal

Supporting activity design elements and guides

Produce

Our production team handled the coordination of casting talent, delivering a minimal and clean cyc studio location, and providing all of the crew for creating the content. In addition, we captured content of the software to seamlessly blend studio content with software screens for an immersive walkthrough that went beyond slides.

The end result:

35 video lessons ranging in length from 2-12 minutes.

~12 Interactive web activities simulating the software or providing guided walkthroughs in the application.

End-to-end production coordination, casting, editing, and review management solutions.

The Results

After the 90-day development process, the Matter Analytics Certification was made available on the training platform for initial customers and other internal employees.

100's of individuals have been through the self-serve, online training with little to no needed intervention from customer support throughout the onboarding process.
